Wenn der Barkeeper ne weiße Jacke an hat, ist er richtig gut😊
He touched the edge of the cup, peoples will kiss on the edge unhygienic
Alternative way, put into jar/bottle and shake for a minute in a half
Is that a massive pit of sand?
I grind dark roast coffee, some coffee can be sticky, using the residential BUNN once it begins the sprayers making coffee it will not stop, it makes the whole pot. Using medium folders coffee that is fine, my coffee will overfill the strainer coffee everywhere. Commercial BUNN coffee makers spray then stop spray again giving the strainer time to drain. Only issue with the commercial pot and a residential home they’re way too large.
It looks like the original equipment manufacturer for that 1970s vintage Chemex Automated was Philips (known as Norelco at the time in the USA, as Philips could not use their own branding in the country because of Philco). With exception of the color, the Chemex Automated looks virtually identical to the Norelco Dial-a-Brew drip coffeemaker from the early-mid 1970s. But, of course, the Chemex Automated has additional features suited to the Chemex carafe. The Norelco brewer does not have any control knobs and switches. It also doesn't have the wetting cycle and will likely have a faster brewing cycle than its Chemex Automated counterpart. The Norelco also doesn't have the water spray head that the Chemex Automated has. And the Norelco will heat the water to over 200 degrees Fahrenheit and is rated for up to 1500 watts of power consumption at 120 VAC.
Gail you are not professional.
It doesn't work for me.. I'm using 3.5 fat, cold milk with milk frother mixer.
Good review! I like the Sideways-style soundtrack!
Hahaha thanks for showing me what not to do when steaming milk but i already knew not to do all that imagine listening to an american about coffee, oh i have an idea im going to do a tutorial on sonething i know absolutely nothing about 🤦♂️
My 4300 Lattego has an option to just make hot milk. Odd that this newer model doesn't have it.
@everythingevo: don't forget that Philips doesn't make appliances anymore. Coffe machine get made by a private company in Romania so you will find issues sadly as Philips just checks if it works ok and that's it. Their business is in health for hosipitals for example but still they make bad products. Remember that device that they had to recall for breething? Well that still is ongoing. Philips is not like it used to be sadly. I have also a 4300 but had to replace that thing that is behind the brew group as the coffe would not come out of the nozles but in the drip tray, which is a very common issue on these devices. Coffee would also taste badly that's because (without Philips saying this themselves, you have to go on youtube) there is a piece which you have to unscrew from the brew group which is like a mini filter but nowhere is it mentioned to clean this as the coffee goes trough this filter and gets dirty as the left over coffee stays on this filter. You have to clean this after every like 6 months to get a good coffee taste. So it has some issues, but still a good machine afterall, though, saying that, the coffee grinding sound has become very loud in the 3 years we've owned this machine 😅. But still a good machine, you just have to take care of it.
My 3200 failed shortly after its warranty expired. The customer service rep told me my beans were "oily" and I needed to buy degreasing tablets. The user manual didn't mention either.
@@dandevaney4025 Ah, I don't know of it being mentioned in the manual but thankfully I watched many videos before buying my lattego 4300, so that I know what to do. Things like tablets and descaling I already knew before buying. Weirdly enough, if the manual doesn't mention it, why does Philips have many youtube videos? Like I stated in my above comment: these machines are not made by Philips but in a Romanian factory which is owned by a private company who has a contract with Philips. Philips doesn't make appliances anymore but only focusses on healthcare.
All Incorrect!! I don't care what order after, but ice first imo!
No debate on if the coffee is before or after the milk. Always before if it's iced, do you want your ice? Let's cool the drink down first
Should the bean release be open all the way in the grinder? I’m using 18g but not sure if it’s ideal to grind in 10 or 18 seconds. (Espresso shot is fine.) thanks Sean!
That statement about all of them producing the same coffee is ridiculous and untrue. Jura z10 is an exceptional espresso machine. The coffee is nothing close to the same.
Great review as always thank you Gale! As a feedback to the manufacture. If your going to put all your controls on a touch screen, make sure its a GREAT touch screen things that make a good touch screen is responsiveness and accuracy especially when its small like that. Watching Gale fiddle with that touch screen makes me realize that is not something i want to fiddle with in the morning
I dont think people realized how each spin of the spoon varied on different glasses as they had different volumes.
What causes splattering? I'm using a measured 16g, and it doesn't happen every time, but all too often in any case. Thanks!
Are you using a bottomless portafilter? If the shot is spraying it could be your puck prep (uneven tamp, channels forming in the puck during brewing). Alternatively, it could be the grind size - might be too coarse. Spraying isn't necessarily a huge problem unless you don't like how your espresso is tasting and/or it's coming out way too fast!
@@SeattleCoffeeGear thanks for the reply. Yes, I have begun to use a bottomless portafilter. I will monitor my puck prep b/c it doesn't happen all of the time. The coffee is tasting great at any rate. Loving your videos! And my Rancillio Sylvia and I are LONG term Seattle Coffee Gear patrons! Keep up the good work!
$6000 dollars and you get an old dated small touch screen with 2004 icons? Plastic body and a dispenser that automatically goes up and down that we didn't ask for? The Siemens and Saeco machines are leaps and bounds better with modern touch screens like an iPhone.

What is the difference between a pressurized basket as opposed to a real basket?
How much coffee/ water did you use on the Oxo again…how many oz/grams etc of each?
Never tried it, but im curoius how it stands up to my good ol cowboy coffee
multi-task 😅
Hi, we have the same unit but the site glass showing the water level inside doesn't have water in it anymore. Is it still safe or ok to continue brewing because evethough there's no water showing in the site glass, there is still water coming out off the grouphead once we start brewing. We would really appreciate your insight. Thank you!

I wouldn’t pour the hot thing over the ice but maybe it doesn’t matter?
This is a very important question...

Oh, what kind of bream I would get from my mother if I poured coffee into glasses 😊

his voice belongs on the radio but the face belongs on tv fire 🔥
Very calming but less impressive than you think.. go to a busy bar or festival with the counter completely full and watch the barkeepers/waiters for a while thats when you will be impressed by teamwork speed and efficiency. Or see pure chaos😂
you can change the temp onthe touch. might not be by 1 degree thou. they have normal hot and hotter and 2 cooler ones as well. i have the touch impress the only thing i wash it had was the heated group. but run a shot of water and your fine. i think the milk comes on quicker than the dream to. takes to long and to much fiddling. i do like the dream though i would rayher the duo though
Do you know why when I turn the machine on, it rinses in the brew group?
Store in the fridge?
Thanks. That was very helpful.
Phillips/Saeco ....really? Phillips/Saeco machines produce 7 gm micro pucks with crappy coarse grinders. Its Jura or Delonghi only!
Very enlightening thank you, I have recently replaced my expansion valve(16.5) on my Musica, is that normal that it doesn’t give out any water during back flush and extraction? Because after watching this I just realize that only under an extreme situation the expansion valve might open. When I have coffee extracted down the spouts it means the pressure is not building up and it stays steady. Extraction is a form of release itself right?🤓
I think this is have to do with an experiment that I did so I grabbed a spoon and I measured it before I blow torch it and heat actually expand solids
